Gallery of GNSI Greater New York Chapter

Alive in New York. . . represents a collection of works illustrating plants considered to be invasive threats, and also identifies endangered native plants that are loosing habitat to the imports that have escaped cultivation. This show has been mounted in response to the great success of the Connecticut invasives exhibit Landscape Under Siege which was installed at the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History from 2004 - 2006. Images above clockwise from upper left; Richard Rauh, Wendy Hollender, Dolores R. Santoliquido, and Lanis Monfried. All works © individual artists. ______________________________________________________________________________________ Our gallery contains many fine examples of the works to be found in the full exhibit.
